LEAD Marketing Agency Account Director and Web Developer Heather Yarbrough has joined the Code for Good West Michigan Board of Directors as Nonprofit Project Coordinator.
Code for Good West Michigan brings technology professionals and nonprofits together to help local organizations solve digital challenges and better serve the community. Through its annual Weekend for Good, volunteer teams donate their time and expertise to help nonprofits with projects ranging from website design and development to branding, marketing, and software solutions.
Heather first became involved with Code for Good as a volunteer during Weekend for Good in 2025. After seeing firsthand the impact a team of technology and creative professionals could make for local nonprofits in a single weekend, she wanted to stay involved.
As Nonprofit Project Coordinator, Heather will work with nonprofit organizations interested in participating in Code for Good, helping connect their needs with the resources and expertise available through the organization’s volunteer community.
The role is a natural extension of Heather’s work at LEAD, where she helps clients navigate website, digital marketing, and other technology challenges and find practical solutions that support their goals.
“I loved being part of Weekend for Good last year and seeing how much could be accomplished when people volunteered their skills toward a common goal,” Heather said. “I’m excited to stay involved and help more West Michigan nonprofits connect with people who can help them do even more for our community.”
