My position at LEAD Marketing Agency is unique because I am the only person on staff who does not have a marketing background – I work in Accounting and Human Resources. During my 3 ½ years at LEAD, it has been interesting to see how often the fields of marketing and human resources can intersect. A huge part of human resources is hiring…so for this post, it makes sense to explore the crossover between hiring practices and marketing.

The current unemployment rate is 4.2% (September 2017), a drop from 8.2% five years ago.

The low rate we are seeing is fantastic for many Americans, but it means there is an added challenge for companies looking to hire the right person for a job, which is imperative to the financial success of an organization.
