Meet Jessica Hart – LEAD Account Manager
Name? School? Major/Minor?
My name is Jessica Hart. I graduated from Northwood University in Midland, MI in 2017 with a bachelor’s in Marketing/Advertising & Management.
Where is your hometown?
San Diego, CA
What would be your “At-Bat” theme song?
My “At-Bat” theme song at the moment would probably be Panic! At the Disco – “High Hopes”
What is something others find interesting about you?
I would say something that others may find interesting about me is my huge passion for health/fitness and motivating & helping others. I have been an athlete my whole life and have always thought our health is the most important thing we have. I eat vegan as well and have a huge passion for nutrition and I love to cook delicious meals. I love to express my passions on social media. Something else that is interesting would be that I was on the U-17 Mexico National Team for a year and played in the Mexico Jr. Olympics representing the Mexican-Americans living in the U.S and have three gold medals through that, which are very close to my heart.
What’s your biggest fear?
I have huge fears I think everyone has, such as losing someone special, getting kidnapped or car accidents, but my biggest fear is looking back on my life when I’m old and having regret. That drives me to do what I love and live a life I can say I am proud of.
I love quotes and I have so many favorites that apply to different areas of my life it’s hard to choose one. The background on my phone is “Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire.” because I believe every person should pursue their passions. “Nothing changes if nothing changes.” If you desire a change, you must make a change. “You become what you believe.” Our mind is so powerful, and your thoughts/beliefs create your reality. Last but not least, “Nothing great comes from your comfort zone.” Always be blissfully dissatisfied, be grateful but always strive for more.
One Out Of the box solution?
Creativity seldom comes from being certain. If you limit your thoughts and actions, you will rarely get far. The quote “I am no genius, but I am smart in spots and I stay around those spots,” by Warren Buffet reminds me to always tackle a problem with my unique view, but to also think outside and utilize other’s perspectives whom have skills in what I may not.
What are the values that drive you?
Integrity, Passion/Energy, Kindness and Gratitude.
Who is someone who has influenced your professional career?
My dad has always been a massive influence in my professional career, seeing him lead in his career growing up gave me something to strive for. He always pushed me to be the best version of me and never settle. He worked to now own his own business and his work ethic and passion are very inspiring to me. Also, like most moms, my mom always believed I could do anything and supported all my goals.
Top three favorite podcasts/books?
I love reading, listening to podcasts and watching YouTube videos and documentaries. The podcasts and videos I always have on are from Ed Mylett, Tom Bilyeu and Lewis Howes. I also listen to a lot of audio books, some of my favorites are The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins, Crushing It by Gary Vee and I’m currently loving How Not To Die by Michael Greger, M.D.,FACLM.
